PARADOR DE CRUZ DE TEJEDA

This Parador is located in the centre of the island of Gran Canaria, just 9 km away from the town of Tejeda. It is located at an altitude of 1,500 metres, in a beautiful setting with views of the Risco Caído Cultural Landscape and the Sacred Spaces of the Gran Canaria Mountains, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2019.

The rooms have a balcony and are simply and elegantly decorated, with soft colours and wooden furniture.

The restaurant offers an exquisite regional cuisine with traditional local dishes, such as watercress stew, papas arrugadas and mojos (wrinkled potatos with sauces), bienmesabe (fried and battered houndshark) and Tejeda cheeses.

In addition to the restaurant, the Parador has a café-terrace called El Mirador, a lounge for guests with two fantastic fireplaces and a spa with a spectacular hydrothermal pool with views of the Caldera de Tejeda.
