Construction note dated 21.02.2025: The initial works for the new hotel Riu Palace Dubai Island, located next to Riu Dubai have commenced. The construction is expected to last for a period of approximately 18 months. Currently, it is at the compaction stage. This process is carried from 8 am to 7 pm and produces some light vibrations as they use a machine to check the grounds. Compaction will last until 15th March. On this date, pilling will start, which will involve digging and some noise disturbance. This second process will last for about 2 months. Any additional information will be updated on the construction process.
